The Videofied OMV601MB Outdoor MotionViewer® is a wireless, battery-powered PIR motion sensor with an integrated video camera and infrared illuminators. It is designed to detect an intruder, instantaneously record a short video clip and transmit the video to the control panel. The panel then transmits the video alarm signal to the central station for immediate review and dispatch to law enforcement for priority response to a crime-in-progress.
The OMV611 consists of a digital camera, passive infrared motion detector, and S2 View spread spectrum. S2 View is a proprietary Videofied interactive, encrypted wireless circuitry for secure two way communications with the control panel. The camera consists of a CMOS black and white sensor and an 90°, wide angle lens. Four infrared LEDs provide a night illumination distance of up to 40 feet/ 12 meters. For passive infrared detection the standard Fresnel lens covers up to 90° angle and an optimal detection distance of 40 feet / 12 meters from the MotionViewer. For applications where the standard Fresnel lens detection will not work 3 additional lenses and a masking kit are provided. The additional lenses consist of a Horizontal Curtain, Vertical Curtain, and Beam detection patterns.
The MotionViewer is typically installed to secure outdoor areas where there is a temperature fluctuation and areas where broad viewing/detection coverage is needed. When the alarm system is armed and the PIR has a detection, the detector transmits a signal and activates the camera, which captures a 7-10 second video segment. The control panel receives the signal and responds according to system configuration and programming. 3 hardwired inputs allow for 3rd party devices to force the OMV611 to take a video and transmit intrusion and trouble notifications. 1 hardwired output allows the OMV611 to notify a 3rd party device that there has been an intrusion event.

The picture quality is very good, infrared is really clear, and motion detection works great. For this price, and great quality, it truly cannot be beat. Another best value deal compared to other deals and works perfectly with these cameras.
