Honeywell VISTA 15P Kit Description:
The Honeywell VISTA 15P dual-path hybrid security system kit with included 6160RF hardwired/wireless 345Mhz keypad and Alarm.com ADC-SEM-300-VT-VZ-M universal dual-path alarm communicator was designed for complete business and home security. The VISTA 15P contains a 32-zone control panel attached to the Alarm.com SEM300 communicator which delivers multiple (internet backed by cellular Verizon LTE) alarm communications to the GeoArm central monitoring station.
The VISTA 15P comes with 6 on-board hardwired zones, up to 16 hardwired zones with expansion (6 on-board + 16 expansion = 22 total hardwired zones) and up to 26 wireless expansion zones (using the 6160RF keypad's wireless receiver). Also, the VISTA 15P supports up to 8 wireless keyfobs, up to 32 user codes and up to 8 schedules. With the VISTA 15P you can have remote programming capability and graphic keypad support. The VISTA 15P's installation advantages, innovative end-user benefits and robust system capacity make the value-priced hybrid security system an ideal choice for most home and business owners.
The VISTA 15P dual-path hybrid security system is backed by Honeywell's 2-year limited manufacturer's warranty and is compatible with the full-line of Honeywell 5800-Series wireless security products using the 6160RF keypad's wireless receiver. To complete your DIY-friendly hybrid security system installation, first wall-mount the VISTA 15P control panel. Next, wall-mount the 6160RF keypad close to the VISTA 15P control panel. Finally, connect the ADC-SEM300-VT-VZ-M dual-path (internet and cellular Verizon LTE-M) alarm communicator to the VISTA 15P control panel. Please take note that you will need an Alarm.com dual-path alarm monitoring account activated to work with GeoArm's central station.
When designing your system, keep in mind that the Honeywell VISTA 15P high-security system supports up to thirty-two (32) total zones with expansion modules but only supports twenty-two (22) hardwired zones with expansion. You should add the Honeywell 4219 hardwired 8-zone expansion modules if you want to add more than six (6) hardwired zones to your VISTA 15P security system. Also, remember you can use the 6160RF keypad's RF receiver that comes included to easily expand your VISTA 15P by up to 26 wireless zones. The Honeywell-Compatible Alarm.com ADC-SEM300-VT-VZ-M dual-path alarm communicator sends your VISTA 15P alarm signals over the primary internet communication path, and if down, over the backup cellular Verizon LTE-M communication path to the GeoArm central monitoring station.
With an Alarm.com VISTA-Series alarm communicator in place, you would no longer need traditional phone service at the property to monitor your security system. The alternative communicator would also allow you to upgrade to GeoArm's Alarm.com interactive alarm monitoring services.
