Honeywell 5800SS1 Product Description:
The Honeywell 5800SS1 is a wireless shock sensor that has been designed to mount directly on the glass surface. The 5800SS1 offers excellent protection for all glass types including plate, tempered, laminated and wired. It is a compact, versatile shock detector that provides outstanding false alarm immunity.
The 5800SS1 is effective in acoustically hard areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, skylights and occupied areas. The detector mounts quickly and easily without having to remove the cover, simply pull the battery tab to enroll the transmitter, peel the adhesive backing and mount.
Each transmitter has its own unique serial number, assigned during manufacture, which must be "enrolled" in the control panel before the device can be used with the system. One 5800SS1 is required for each pane of glass protected. Do not use more than one sensor per pane.
