Designed with both security and privacy in mind, the ADC-V530 features an innovative Automatic Privacy Shield that physically closes to block the camera lens when privacy is desired. The shield can be automatically scheduled to close when the Alarm.com compatible security system is disarmed or triggered through custom Scenes and schedules, giving users complete control over when the camera records. For continuous protection, the camera supports encrypted 24/7 local recording directly to a microSD card, ensuring footage remains secure and accessible even during network interruptions.

Users can conveniently monitor live and recorded video from anywhere using the Alarm.com customer website and mobile app. The intuitive Smart View video timeline makes it easy to search for important events such as person detection or door access activity and instantly jump to the corresponding footage. Advanced Video Analytics with Object Detection intelligently distinguishes between people, vehicles, and other motion events to reduce false alerts and deliver more meaningful notifications.
