The 2GIG-TAKE100-345 wireless hardwire takeover module gives professional installers a simple and efficient way to upgrade existing 12-volt prewired security systems into a modern 2GIG wireless solution. This powerful 2GIG TAKE100-345 module converts traditional hardwired zones into 345 MHz wireless zones, providing a seamless transition to next-generation smart security technology.
Each 2GIG-TAKE100-345 module supports up to eight hardwired loops, allowing for straightforward integration of legacy systems into the 2GIG wireless ecosystem. For larger installations, additional modules can be added to expand system capacity and maintain full zone coverage.
Designed for installer flexibility, the module can be powered directly from the existing alarm panel's 12V DC power supply and backup battery, ensuring continuous operation even during power outages. It also includes an onboard charging circuit with an LED status indicator for easy diagnostics. The built-in auxiliary 500 mA output can power wired motion or glass break sensors, eliminating the need for separate power supplies.
As part of the 2GIG 345S Series, the TAKE100-345 features a switchable encryption mode - defaulting to non-encrypted communication but easily configured for encrypted operation with compatible control panels such as the 2GIG EDGE, GC Touch, and earlier 2GIG panels.
Engineered for indoor use, the module is not designed for carbon monoxide (CO) or fire detection zones, and it does not support end-of-line resistors. With its reliable performance, installer-friendly design, and robust compatibility, the 2GIG-TAKE100-345 is the ideal solution for converting wired systems to wireless security.
