The 2GIG-FTD100-345 wireless dual source flood and temperature sensor delivers fast, reliable detection of leaks and extreme temperature changes, helping prevent costly water and environmental damage before it occurs. Ideal for both residential and commercial applications, the 2GIG-FTD100-345 sensor can be placed wherever there's a risk of unwanted water pooling - such as near water heaters, washing machines, sinks, HVAC units, or sump pumps.
Unlike traditional leak detectors, the FTD100-345 features dual-source sensing technology with built-in metal contacts on both the top and bottom surfaces, allowing it to detect drips from above and pooling water below - without requiring an external probe. This unique design makes installation quick, tool-free, and exceptionally convenient.
The sensor also monitors ambient temperature, alerting the control panel if the environment exceeds 95°F (35°C) or drops below 41°F (5°C). As part of the 2GIG 345S Series, it supports both encrypted and non-encrypted (default) 345 MHz communication, selectable via an on-board switch. Compatible with 2GIG EDGE, GC Touch, and earlier control panels, the FTD100-345 integrates seamlessly into the 2GIG ecosystem.
