This cellular antenna features an MMCX connector and comes with an 18-foot cable. It supports both LTE and 3G bands, offering great versatility. Unlike coax (SMA) connectors that require screwing, the MMCX connector easily snaps onto the radio.While older 2G communicators may use an SMA connector, the newer 2G, 3G, and 4G (LTE) models are compatible with the MMCX snap-on connector. The 18-foot cable should generally be sufficient to position the antenna for optimal signal reception. If additional length is needed, consider alternative solutions, as extending the cable by splicing is not recommended.
