The Alula BAT-MINI is a universal dual-path (WiFi and Cellular AT&T/Verizon LTE) alarm communicator designed for existing security systems to deliver central station monitoring, interactive services and remote panel configuration. The BAT-MINI communicator is the ultimate security system monitoring takeover device, that easily upgrades legacy security platforms to a modern, mobile app experience.

Much more than a basic communicator, the BAT-MINI intuitive device smartly bridges intrusion security, and video with the Alula iOS or Android Apps. Armed with the BAT-MINI, users can cut install time and simplify operations. The easy-to-install, dual-path alarm communicator is broadly compatible with common panels already in the field, giving existing systems a game changer upgrade for the 15-Million older panels online today.

Slow flashing green - trying to establish connection
Constantly ON blue - connected to WiFi
Constantly ON green - connected via Cellular at a good signal level
Constantly ON green, blinking every 5 sec. - connected via Cellular at a low signal level

If you have issues receiving the events, try the following additional panel settings:

Disable "Telephone line monitoring".
Disable "Wait for dial tone" option.
Use "A" instead of "0" in the account number.
If there is more than one partition, enter an account number for each partition.
For certain panels, you might need to also specify an account number for the main partition 0 (sometimes referred as system account number).
The BAT-Mini will report a 352 Secondary Phone Line Trouble error code if the BAT-Mini has a problem communicating over TIP/RING. Check wiring and panelprogramming.
