Once GeoArm receives your order for a LYNX Plus wireless security system, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to an easy LYNX Plus programming form where you will fill out your account information and zone descriptions. Upon receiving your zone information we will pre-program your Honeywell wireless security system devices with the descriptions you provided so that the LYNX Plus security system is ready to be installed and monitored right out of the box. Once you have mounted all your security devices, GeoArm's central alarm monitoring station will help you do a full system test to ensure your LYNX Plus alarm signals are being sent and received correctly.

L3000PK – Honeywell LYNX Plus Wireless Security System DIY Installation Notes:
The LYNX Plus wireless security system comes equipped to send its alarm signals over a traditional phone line or by using an approved VoIP service provider. To complete your DIY home security installation, plug in the LYNX Plus transformer into a standard wall outlet and then plug in your active phone or VoIP connection to the jack on the back of the LYNX Plus alarm control panel. You will need long distance service turned on for the phone line alarm communications to work with GeoArm's central station. When choosing your installation location, make sure there is an open phone or VoIP jack and open wall outlet nearby.
GeoArm also recommends installing the LYNX Plus wireless security system in a location that is not near an entry/exit door, such as a utility closet or master bedroom. If the LYNX Plus alarm control panel is installed near an entry/exit door, an intruder can potentially disable the system before the entry delay times out. If this happens, GeoArm's central alarm monitoring station would not receive the alarm signal since the LYNX Plus alarm control panel and/or alarm communicator has been destroyed. A LYNX Plus wireless keypad installed at the entry/exit door would provide full system control and allow you to install your LYNX Plus wireless security system in a secure remote location.
When designing your system, keep in mind that the Honeywell LYNX Plus wireless security system supports up to (40) wireless zones/devices. GeoArm includes (3) wireless devices in the base kit along with (1) 4-button wireless keyfob, so make sure you do not add more than (33) additional Honeywell security devices to your LYNX Plus security system.
Please note that while every wireless device counts for one wireless zone, every programmed button on a keyfob counts as a wireless zone. (e.g. 4-button keyfob with all buttons programmed will use (4) zones.)
