TX-6010-01-1 GE Wireless Smoke Detector Product Description:
This wireless sensor detects smoke and rising heat. Unlike stand-alone smoke detectors (which only make a local alarm), this detector will sound and communicate with GeoArm's Central Station. In the event of an emergency, our professional operators will follow protocol and dispatch your local authorities if needed.

TX-6010-01-1 GE Wireless Smoke Detector GeoArm Recommendation:
Place smoke detectors inside all bedrooms and outside bedroom entrances. For multi-level homes make sure to have at least one smoke detector on each floor. Mount them high on ceilings at least 4" from any wall and when wall mounting at least 4" from the ceiling. To prevent false alarms, do not place a smoke detector near a kitchen or stove and avoid damp or humid areas such as a bathroom or dusty areas such as a workshop or garage.
