Unlike self-contained “all-in-one” wireless security systems, the Alexor separates the control panel or “brains” of the system from the wireless keypads that control the system. Upon receiving your zone information we will pre-program your DSC Alexor phone line or VoIP wireless security system devices with the descriptions you provided so that the Alexor wireless security system is ready to be installed and monitored right out of the box. When you choose a phone line alarm monitoring plan, you MUST also choose the "Phone Line" alarm communication path. If you do not have a traditional phone line, or you are looking for a more secure communication path, you have the option to upgrade to cellular alarm monitoring or IP/cellular alarm monitoring. With both these options, a DSC Connect 24 alarm communicator will be installed inside your Alexor security system. With the cellular alarm communicator, all alarm signals are sent wirelessly over the GSM cellular network. There are no wires that can be tampered with and cellular alarm communication is the most reliable path available. The IP/cellular alarm communicator uses an active high speed internet connection to transmit the alarm signals and uses the GSM cellular network as a backup in the event the internet was to fail. With this communicator you will need to run a wire from the Alexor security system to an open port on your network’s modem/router. If you decide on a cellular or IP/cellular alarm monitoring plan, you MUST choose the corresponding "Cellular (GS2065) (+$249.99)" or “IP/Cellular (TL265GS) (+$334.99)” alarm communication path.

The DSC Alexor home security system supports up to (32) wireless zones/devices as well as (16) wireless keys. GeoArm includes (3) wireless devices and (1) wireless 4-button keyfob in the base package, so make sure you do not add more than (29) additional devices or (14) additional wireless keyfob buttons to your system.
Ensure Alarm Coverage:
1. GeoArm's central alarm monitoring station is licensed to monitor accounts in all 50 states except Hawaii.
2. The GS2065 cellular communicator and the TL265GS IP/cellular communicator utilize the AT&T wireless network, therefore you must also verify you live in an area that is currently covered by AT&T if you choose a “Cellular” or “IP/Cellular” alarm monitoring plan.
