2GIG-TAKE-KIT1 Product Description:
The 2GIG Hardwire Conversion Kit (2GIG?TAKE?KIT1) provides DIYer's with an easy method for taking over a pre?wired security alarm system and converting the existing hardwired zones to wireless zones. To ensure optimal performance with the 2GIG control panel, the kit provides an ABS Plastic enclosure (UL 94: V?0) to protect the kit's components. The enclosure houses up to three (3) super switch takeover modules (2GIG?TAKE?345).
Each 2GIG?TAKE?KIT1 includes one (1) super switch takeover module which converts up to eight (8) hardwired sensors to 2GIG wireless zones. The kit also includes a power supply board with backup battery charging circuit, a grounded plug-in transformer, and an ABS plastic enclosure that includes a dedicated space for your backup battery (battery not included). The enclosure also houses up to two (2) additional Super Switch Takeover Modules, which increases your capacity to convert up to 24 wired sensors to wireless zones.
The super switch (2GIG-TAKE-345) cannot be used to monitor Carbon Monoxide (CO) or Fire detection zones and the Hardwire Conversion Kit is intended for indoor use only.
