The Uplink 2540 CDMA cellular alarm communicator establishes wireless alarm communication in areas where GSM cellular coverage is scarce or nonexistent. When a phone line is compromised, the Uplink 2540 intercepts the Contact ID alarm signals and wirelessly trasmits the data to GeoArm's nationwide central alarm monitoring station. The Uplink 2540 consists of a CDMA modem and an alarm interface module (which includes an integrated power supply & telephone line monitor) integrated into a high-quality metal enclosure.
